About the event
Our first 525 night featured the recent release of Northern Exposure Redux. This was the album, mixed by Sasha and John Digweed, that when first released in 1996 brilliantly defined the genre of progressive house music. What followed is how that music then travelled all over the world, and the label that helped it along the way is Global Underground, who released a long series of mix albums, each one featuring a globally recognised DJ, in a city location. It started with Tony de Vit in Tel Aviv, then Nick Warren in Prague, Paul Oakenfold in Oslo, and has continued until the recent 49th release, Deep Dish in Dublin.
Global Underground is now commemorating 30 years of this music with an album release of new tracks that capture the definitively global sound of underground dance music.
Our resident DJ Deep Fish will be playing that music alongside other standout tracks…
